Norway

A new Regulation on Waste was adopted on 1 July, containing chapters onWEEE and Refrigeration Equipment. Regulations on the collection and recycling of WEEE have been in force in Norway since 1998, and there is an advanced recovery system in place. New regulations, which will fully implement the Directives, were to be adopted by 1 January 2005. Mre details in next update.
